| The
first quarter of 2004 has proven to be a very
busy and rewarding period for GPI with contracts,
alliances and ongoing development being key
factors. |
|
|
 |
 |
We
are delighted to announce Bryant Ham,
the President of FIMMA
(Food Industry Machinery Manufacturers
Australia), will officially open our
new workshop in April 2004. |
|
In
order to stay ahead of mounting manufacture
demand and to support the current
schedule, GPI’s workshop expansion
will provide increased and streamlined
manufacturing capability and improved
inventory capacity.
Reduced
costs, shortened time frames and improved
service are some of the benefits current
and potential clients will experience.
The
new expansion incorporates new office
areas to accommodate the growth of
Technical, R&D and Manufacturing
departments.

Consumers
are demanding more natural ‘less processed’
chunky sauce and soups. The RotaTherm has
the capability to deliver the necessary
particulate management to achieve this goal.
 |
The
RotaTherm has successfully processed
standard vegetable formulations consisting
of zucchini wheels, carrot and other
large vegetables chunks.
The
input is gently agitated by axial
rotation in the cooking column, not
churned as is typical with SSHE. Further,
the HTST (High Temperature, Short
Time) heating profile utilised by
the RotaTherm seals in the flavour
and has the least impact on particulate
degradation and retains the crispness
of the particulates.
|
The
RotaTherm produces a greater yield quantity
with a higher quality than the tube-in-tube,
SSHE processing, or other indirect methods
of heating.
Please

Sorley with your application enquiries. |

The
RotaTherm® continuous cooking system
is continuing to generate keen interest
in its ability to process product aseptically.
The system’s competence at handling
pumpable, viscous products means the RotaTherm
in its new aseptic version is really coming
into its own. Traditionally these products
are too difficult for existing aseptic technologies.
The rapid heating and cooling profile of
the RotaTherm® coupled with its ability
to efficiently handle high viscosity and
particulate products without burn-on, allows
new products to be processed aseptically
that have not been technically possible
previously. Our latest aseptic system is
currently being built in our workshop and
will be commercialised in the second half
of 2004.
Please
contact Alastair
Sorley or Mark
Kirkby with any enquiries. |
